Milford Sound

Yesterday, Me and Raf took a 5 hour bus to the western coast of New Zealand to visit Milford Sound.

In geography, a sound is a large sea or ocean inlet larger than a bay, deeper than a bight, and wider than a fjord; or a narrow sea or ocean channel between two bodies of land.

On the way to Milford Sound, we passed through the Fiordland National Park a natural world heritage spot that is almost 13 hectares large (you can fit 1260 Boracay's inside). On the way through, we passed by many places where people shot movies, but my favorite part was the "Valley of a Thousand Waterfalls". It was raining the whole day and we were all very wet the whole time, but it was a good thing because if it wasn't raining then there would not be any waterfalls.
When we arrived at Milford Sound after a 5-6 hour bus ride, we took a 2 hour cruise to go to the beginning of the Ocean, and then back.

There were many beautiful views and it was very cold, but I enjoyed seeing nature. Milford Sound is famous because many movies have been filmed in the area. The newest Aliens movie and Avatar are the new movies are new, and we also passed by some Lord of the Rings places as well.
